Which commission structure should I choose?
The Fiverr affiliate program has two types of commission plans.
- Fiverr CPA
- Fiverr Hybrid
The “Fiverr CPA” is a dynamic plan, and the final commission depends on the types of servoce your referral purchases. It can be anywhere between $15-150.
The “Fiverr hybrid”, however, a recurring feature. For every valid sale you get $10 CPA (Cost per Action) + 10% revenue share for 12 months. It’s important to know that the $10 CPA is for the first-time purchase. If that customer comes back and orders again, you get 10% from the revenue.
Now that the two plans are clear, which one you should choose. Well, you need to do a little math. If the service is expensive, but popular with lots of returning customers, you might want to select the Hybrid plan. If it’s not too expensive, or the customers are not likely to come back for more, then maybe the “Fiverr CPA” is a better choice. It’s something that you need to figure out.
Which Gig Should I Promote?
This is a very important step. Search for the topic you want to promote. For example, Google or facebook ad management gigs are very popular, not too cheap and if the seller is good, the number of returning customers are high.
Once you have the search result, filter the sellers to only show “Pro services”. This will make sure only “Pro verified” gigs will appear. These are usually expensive gigs, and Fiverr pays $150 after each sale you direct towards “Pro verified” gigs.
Pro verified sellers are manually vetted by Fiverr and this will give the customer additional trust and will be more likely to purchase the gig.
Rememeber, social proof is also extremely important when you want to sell something online. So here select a gig based on these criterias:
- has a 5.0 rating
- has at least 100 reviews
- the price of the gig is somewhere between $300-500

Now that you have selected the gig you want to promote, it’s time to create an affiliate link to it. Log into your Fiverr affiliate dashboard.
Go to “Marketing Tools” -> “”Default and Deep Links”.
Here, you can create your affiliate links. You can also see some default affiliate links already created for you. But to create an affiliate link to a service, you need to click the “LP URL” in the top right corner
and paste the link of the selected gig to the drop down field. now, you should automatically see the affiliate link. It will be a long and ugly link so you might want to shorten it with a service like bily.com
OK! I’m in. Now What?
So now you have your affiliate link. This was the easy part. The hard part is to find people who need this service and are willing to pay for it. And more, we need to find a way for them to click on our link.
It all depends on the service you chose, but if we stay with our “Ad management topic”, we can come up with some ideas to generate traffic to the affiliate link. Let’s see a few examples:
Create an Instagram account around the topic of the promoted gig. Post some useful content, images, videos. Put your affiliate link into your profile. Start following people who follow similar accounts. They will start follow you back. The click-through rate is quite good on Instagram. Make sure to post regularly.
Direct email
