How do I delete an Instagram account

You can temporarily deactivate your account if you go to “profile” -> “Edit profile” and click the “Temporarily deactivate my account” link.

If you want to permanently delete your account, you need to go to the delete account page, if you afre on a desktop computer. If you are on the Instagram mobile app, just go to “Settings” -> “Delete account” at the bottom.
